Norton Ghost is almost the ultimate solution when it comes to backing up your data. It backs up everything on your harddisks including operating system. Even if you have a complete harddisk failure - your entire system can be brought to life on a new harddisk. Norton Ghost even supports incremental backup, so that you don't have to make a complete backup of you system each time.
Norton Ghost backups to external hardisks attached to you USB or Firewire (IEEE 1394) ports - or burns your backups to CDs or DVDs. It also allows you to backup to network shares on either a normal file server or Network Attached Storage (NAS) or even a FTP server.
