I think Gnumeric (Windows) is a beautiful piece of work, loads way faster that OpenOffice. Wish it had a format painter though (paste a format to multiple non-adjacent cells) and would like to be able to delete a group of non-adjacent rows. Takes a bit more getting used than OpenOffice when migrating from Excel, and there is not sufficient help available. But if you want a good spreadsheet that loads fast....
