I was using Nagios until now. One problem I had was that I needed to store password for monitoring some servers, this is a security issue I think. Pandora FMS doesn't have that problem and is more user friendly; isn't imho the best monitoring tool in the open source market, but in a few years could be if the developers still want to improve it.

Hello, I downloaded Pandora FMS 2.0 because I want a good (and cheap) SNMP server. Can anyone please help me, because I really don't know what to do with it. Is there anywhere some documentation? I installed the VMWare image and get the login prompt and that's it.
