QuickTime is digital media software that lets you view pre-recorded or live video and/or audio. On the first viewing, QuickTime immediately shows its superior video quality. Users like the clear, pristine picture and great multichannel sound. All QuickTime media can be viewed simply by clicking on the item you wish to see or hear without having to open the program beforehand.

We've all heard of movie trailers on the internet and doubtless have enjoyed a few. But you don't have to be content with trailers; QuickTime along with iTunes allows you to watch full-length movies, your favorite television shows, documentaries and educational films, cartoons and even play video games! The adjustable window allows for full screen viewing or three other sizes, convenient for multitasking.

QuickTime lets you enjoy movies and audio of exceptional quality on your computer or export them to your iPod, iPhone or Apple TV. There is no setup required; the software detects your connection speed so you get high quality stream adjusted to your available bandwidth. Best of all, if you lose your connection QuickTime automatically reconnects.

Using H.264, the latest in video compression, QuickTime can keep files smaller than other video software while retaining quality for high definition playback or mobile media. The audio is superb and plays back astonishingly well through surround-sound speakers. Audio and video controls let the user easily adjust balance and volume, bass and treble levels. With the sliders in the same control palette you can set color, contrast, brightness and tint to suit your individual needs. Another slider enables playback from half to three times normal speed and the Jog Shuttle allows search through individual frames.
