Rating and comments for SciTE

A very good light-weight editor (even IDE) for software developers. It's my preferred tool when developing Ruby/Rails applications. Very convenient and improves my productivity.

My favorite code and text editor to rapidly hack or view some highlighted source code.

This is a very nice, lightweight text editor, with built-in support for several
programming languages. I normally use Vim (and won't abandon it), but SciTE
has some nice features that Vim lacks, such as proportional fonts, and a built-
in shell window. It is intuitive, very easy to get started with. It has a clean,
simple interface, but features are still easily discoverable without reading the
docs. I would recommend SciTE for anyone who is just starting to learn to
program.
