password form-filler

With all the passwords we have to remember, most of us need a little help. 1Password from Agile Web Solutions is an application that installs a plug-in into your browsers and gives you the option of saving your passwords. While this is similar to features included in the Safari and Firefox browsers, 1Password allows you access no matter which browser you are using. This is handy, especially if you are switching between browsers while conducting business.

1Password requires a master password that is used to access it once per session; this is the only password you must remember. You can store credit card information, software license codes, billing and delivery address or anything else you need to use online but want to keep hidden and secure.

One of the advantages of 1Password is the ability to make complicated, secure combinations of letters and numbers for secure passwords without having to write them down. The auto-submission option provides needed information at the touch of a button. This is very convenient when you need to enter required checkout information when shopping online. A touch of a button fills all spaces required, even your credit card number, security code and expiration date while keeping it secure.

1Password is also available for iPhone and Palm operating systems so you can take it with you.
