Anti-Spam SMTP Proxy (ASSP) is an open source anti-spam solution that utilizes advanced as well as more common ways to avoid spam. ASSP also takes care of email transferred viruses. Being a server side solution - ASSP has more possibilities to detect spam before it actually reaches your inbox - than ordinary anti-spam products. It automatically maintains lists of previously white listed sender. On top of that is uses bayesian filter to determine spam form real email messages.
Please note that ASSP is a server side program - and will not run on your desktop computer. It can only be used if you run your own mail server. |
