Rating and comments for Cinelerra

I have used Cinelerra for a number of video productions for school. I teach communications and find that Cinelerra is a excellent application for doing green and blue screen activities as well as multi shot perspective. We did a copy of a CBC Rick Mercer video cube. The cube had video and stills on all visual sides, which was easy to do in Cinelerra. I high recommend this application.

Sorry... I really recommend Windows or MacOSX when you need to do videowork, while I hate Windows.

I never managed to make a good working video under Linux and Cinelerra CV crashes too much. If this program is really stable it is a good tool, but I cannot work with program which crashes too much. Please fix the problems and tell me which Linux distro it works its best.
