Lousy interface, slow and extremely buggy. Very limited
features.

This has also been ported over for windows.

Best general-purpose e-mail and calendaring application. Beats everything else I've tried, including Thunderbird, Outlook, and Kontact.

I've decided to give it 4 stars, instead of 5, for two reasons. First, it doesn't run in windows, and second, the version I used (admittedly an old one, bundled with Centos 4) had a rather serious bug displaying HTML messages.

constant crashes/hangs. I have yet to successfully send an email via mapi

I will give it 5 out 5 since it runs under Linux. It has replaced Outlook by far.

You can not complain about bug when you did not pay for it.

Thank you to all people involved with Evolution.

An excellent alternative to Outlook. Its Exchange support is imperfect, but continually improving. I've had a good experience running version 2.26.1 on Ubuntu 9.04.

The version I uesd in Ubuntu 9.04 is truly hopeless and unglorifying. Just as a general email client I have to choose a group before I pick a contact. I cannot have my contacts added automatically. It does not seem to support calenders. Crashes often and is really slow.

For a commercially supported and backed product it is extreemly unimpressive. We need a good emailing client to replace outlook, but I would look to gmail or zimbra before dealing with this software.

Unimpressed with Evolution as a whole.

I really can't understand the fuss about it. If the distro's are poorly packaging it I apologise but I would not use it as an alternative to outlook Express let alone outlook.

windows version is horribly buggy, unstable and unusable.
