Would be perfect if it recorded sound as well. It also seems like its development is dead, so this one should be passed up.

No sound? That's disappointing. I think I'll stick with my "discounted" copy of fraps.

I know that Fraps is the popular one here, but XFire, which is a free-as-in-beer program, now has video recording capabilities. It will also record sound. You can also stream your video live if you so choose - something I have not tried personally, but it seems to work (XFire's website has an area where you can view streaming videos from people as they play).

The video recording itself works well and is easy to use.
