The link from OSAlt.com for wikidpad goes to a sourceforge address but downloads are via a long URL that is NOT from sourceforge. The long URL has the potential to contain spoofing. It also appears to be a temporary location. I do not feel secure downloading this app.

I would feel more secure if the URL downloaded via sourceforge or another vetted location.

I wish I could leave a comment without rating... This is only a response to Strider22: you may download this software via CNET's Download.com, if that feels safer.

Hi! Thanks for sharing! Cool app :)

This seems to be good at doing what it says it does. I don't see the point with the whole "wikiwords" thing, though. I would rather not have to write things out like ThIs just to get it to link to another page. There's probably an alternative that I haven't read up on, so I guess that's just nitpicking. It does have a very nice Help section.

can you feed this with a digital pen ?
will it pick up words from a scanned image? eg my paper pocket mod if scanned in could be stored as a copy of the paper page would be even more usefull if i could use ocr or similar to also link the ideas drawings graphs etc and use them elsewhere rather than have to refer back to just the scanned image. Any ideas?

And if this application would be available as portable app (portableapps.com), then it would be really great.
