IrfanView is a free, small, fast graphic viewer whose goal is to be simple for beginners while meeting the power needs of professionals. It allows you to view and change graphic images to your own specifications, such as changing properties of a digital photograph. A simple interface makes it easy to navigate.
You'll find no shortage of tools with IrfanView; it has a preview option as well as Microsoft Paint type features like drawing lines, arrows, straightening an image or reducing its size, etc. You can turn your graphics into a slideshow, animate GIF images, add comments or just transfer your work to a CD. It also has support for Adobe Photoshop filters. Just open the program and you can edit, cut and crop, apply batch conversions and more. Effects include sharpening and blurring, among others.
