Adobe Photoshop Elements 8
|
Photoshop Elements is the little brother of Photoshop. But that does not mean that it is simple and useless. Adobe has taken many features found in previous version of their flagship product Photoshop and made them available. The features missing in Photoshop Elements are mainly those used by people working with professional photo editing for printing.
The main features of Photoshop Elements are photo organization and user friendly editing. The organization is brilliant for cataloging and keeping track of all of your photos. And it even makes it simple to find them again. Photos and be tagged, put into collections, versioned - and viewed on a time-line. All of these features makes use of your photos extremely easy.
The image editing part of Photoshop Elements is also very powerful. It lets you do everything from fixing the exposure of your photos to correcting red eye. For the more advanced or semi-professional user Photoshop Elements lets you work with the RAW images from either your compact digital camera or your digital SLR. Further processing of these images can even take place in a 16-bit editing mode.
For the more creative users Photoshop Elements has great text and effects features to spice up your photos before sharing them with friends and family - or on the internet.
It also include step-by-step guides to help your learn different techniques to improve your photos.
